1st of December through to 24th December. Hence the Advent calender.

Advent starts this year on Sunday 2nd December, the date it starts depends on which day christmas falls as there are four sundays of advent and each sunday a candle is lit. the advent calendar is not really to do with the season of advent and this as been discussed in the news recently, with chocolates etc behind dates, advent is like Lent a period of prayer and fasting .... hope this helps.
