Good Morning all..........

Dont you just hate it when.....

My ex has just text me to say that he will not be meeting me as arranged on Saturday for me to pick up my daughter. I explained that I cannot afford pick her up from home and back to mine (360 mile round trip) and would he meet me half way. this was agreed. Now he says he's arranged to go away on Friday so I will have to collect her from her friends house.

The problem is I cannot afford to do this.

What do I do?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

im sure if she gets the bus or train sahe will be ok.
afterall if shes 16 and old enough to leave home im sure she can make a journey.
dont worry yourself im sure that she is capable of coping.
if shes really like you she will be a bit nuts anyway.

Aye, I'd have no qualms about putting her on a bus. Just make sure she has credit in her mobile in case anything happens and give her instructions on how to Malky somebody. Sounds like she's got her head screwed on though.

Hey Leggy, Skreech,

I know you're right and it is probably the easiest option. I know I can rely on her friends Mum if she needs any help to get to the bus station.

Yeah she is like me and can stop someone short with a look - it took me years to perfect that look and she learnt it very quickly lol
