I've got quite a collection of Manchester history books now. The one I originally mentioned ' The lost rivers of Manchester' Geoffrey Ashworth, was a publication from 1987. This recent one by Keith Warrender covers some of the same info plus lots more! Last summer me and my husband took some before and after pics( gathering old pics from Central library archives then pinpointing the same spot/camera point and taking an up to date pic, fascinating! xxx
