Buses to Heathrow Terminal 5

It appears that no local London bus service will operate to Terminal 5 when it opens at the end of this month.

If there is an alternative way to reach T5 from Hatton Cross or Heathrow Central APART from by underground, I would like to know please

The tfl journey planner tells you to use 'Route Express' buses - National Express long distance ones by the look of it

The Heathrow Express is also possible - I assume free on this section

Who told you that there will be no local buses? There will be at least 13 buses an hour from Hatton Cross to Terminal 5

Route 490 will run every 12 minutes from Hatton Cross station to Terminal 5.

Route H23 will run every 20 minutes from Hatton Cross station to T5.

Route 482 will run every 12 minutes from Hatton Cross station to T5.

Thanks for this; I rang TFL and the chap did not even know when T5 was due to open, let alone how to get there by local bus.
