Got woken up by my noisy next door neighbour stomping up and down her stairs at 4.15am! Couldn't get back to sleep so got up. I've put a load of washing on and had a shower and got dressed, the kids are still fast asleep! Hope you are all enjoying lovely lie ins! Daffi x

I'm up too, been up since 5am. I always try to be quiet if I get up in middle of the night but your neighbour sounds a bit inconsiderate!

My 9 yr old has just come down stairs and been sent straight back to bed! They get up early enough as it is during the week without doing it on a weekend too!

I have tried dropping subtle hints to her! Lol! But she obviously didn't get them! She has a young baby which I guess is what woke her up as she doesn't normally start stomping around til 5.30am. She can't seem to do going down the stairs quietly, she stomps all the way down and back up again!
Roll on next weekend, no more neighbours! Yay! x

I was on here til about 9.30pm then my computer crashed on me and I couldn't be bothered to get it going again, it was only a matter of time before the arguments started! Lol!

Aww I guess she prob just doesn't realise how noisy it is your side or prehaps she's thinking "Well if I'm up at this unGodly hour, every other bu**er will be too!"
I know my kids can be noisy going up and down the stairs sometimes and when my husband was next door with our elderly neighbour he heard for himself what they are like and now they are told to tred quietly! When we can afford it we are going to get some new carpet for the stairs and try to sound proof it a bit.

Are you moving? At least you may be able to lie in on a weekend :o)

I was talking to her the other day and she was saying that she was doing this that and the other to the house, (she only moved in at chirstmas) I asked her if she was going to buy new carpet for the stairs, she said yes, I said good as it might make them a lot less noisy! Obviously not a good enough hint! She is really noisy anyway, she slams her kitchen cupboard doors shut! Her kitchen is against my dining room wall, it makes us jump! Lol! x

How are you? I usually end up waking up early on a weekend because I have had a tipple the night before, but I am alcohol free this weekend (on a diet!) so it must be built into my bodyclock now to just wake up early when there is a chance of a lie in lol!

Off out in a few hours to get my haircut (second time in a year!!) but other than that I have the delight of having my kids room to sort out ready for new beds! Can't wait! lol

What have you all got planned? Hope you all have a good day whatever you are doing :o)

Just a bit of shopping this morning and cleaning up but having a quiet weekend. Want to look for some holiday clothes but not seen anything I like the look of yet

Morning daffi...........your neighbour sounds like one of mine. The family next door (mother and 20 year old daughter) get up at 4.00am every day to let their cat in and the daughter runs up and down stairs repeatedly until going out around 6ish. She also runs across the road every 5 minutes to her brother's house slamming the door on her way out and in. When her mum goes to work at 7 she then comes home and puts her music on loud whilst she gets ready to go out. One of these days I may just do something to her that gets my name in the newspapers.lol.

Hi daffi - I'm lucky in that my neighbours are pretty quiet but I have had my share of noisy one's in the past. I'm late saying Hi today as the computer is in my son's room and I have to wait for him to get up before I can use it! I was up early as usual.
