First of all, good luck ;)

The only thing I can suggest at this stage is to maybe consider taking folic acid, eat well and healthily and look after yourself.

As for trying for a certain sex, I personally think its all down to mother nature!
there was an article in news recently about mums diest at time of conceiving affecting sex of baby.

And there are also surveys that have suggested that the time of your cycle that you conceive affects it too. I think if its early in your fertile peirod its more likely to be a girl?

Good luck

hi psy, i tried folic acid with my other two and they gave me bad headaches but i will try again and see if any different.

I read that redcrx was laughing at it round mums. It said if you want a girl have sex laying down. lol

hi red my diet is really bad, although im not really over weight, but guess i should cut down on the cheese and onion crisps.
i really dont understand all this about when your most fertile, it just confuses me lol. also im not havin periods at the moment cause of my injection

hi 4get i will have to try it and see if red is right lol
im sure my partner will be happy with all the tryin
I came off my pill last month as me and my new partner are trying as well. I got pregnant straight away with my other 3 kids even though there is a fifteen year age gap between my middle daughter and my son who is now 2.
I am now 36 so my fertility will have declined as in all the books I have read it says this. My partner is a few years younger then me.
As I already have 2 girls and a boy I am not that concerned but I really would like another girl if I am honest. My partner has a boy who lives with him and with my little one I would be outnumbered by males if I have a boy lol X
I am on my mission of getting really fit as I have read that the fitter you are can make alot of difference and I always eat healthy anyway. A book called 'Getting pregnant faster' by Dr Marilyn Glenville has helped me as it gives a lot of ideas I wouldn't have thought about before. x
