I keep saying that I will never buy from Ebay, coz I always have to wait an age of te item, yet I still purchase from there.

Anyway, I bought and paid for an item on monday. Still aint got it (1st class post). Emailed the guy twice, and havent received a response. He has 100% score.

i get so frustrated! Whats the length of time I can wait before I ask for my money back?

Stop being so impatient!! Give it a week then get angry!! Well thats what I do
Hi Spaced

The standard time is 7 days.

Ive sent stuff recorded delivery and its taken a week to get there lol.

He could have feasibly posted the item on Tuesday or Wednesday then not gone online for a few days.

I never got a reply about my date with Gary
he may be on holiday
i had same problem until i realised it was coming from hong ong - sometimes you dont know where the seller is
Paid for on Monday
Seller looks at account Tues
Posts On wed

May have been second class.

oh dear who's impatient today lol
To be honest once you get used to Ebay it is great, you have to give some people a bit of leaway as they arent businesses just ordinary people.

It was 1st Class post from Stafford.

I must be the only person who posts items straight away. And if I know I am selling something I aways make sure I keep a check on my emails and bids etc etc.
yep, you do it properly spaced but not everyone is as efficient sadly, it might arrive tomorrow.
Sometimes its Royal Mail who's at fault ye know!
Question Author
so, in a nutshell, wait until monday/tuesday if nothing (no item or no email) start proceedings?
Calm down Spaced lol

The seller could be I'll or on holiday or Royal Mail could be their usual selves.

Personally I would give it ten days after purchase then if there has been no goods or contact then contact paypal and list the item as not received.

ok, I will take your advice. Thanks guys!
How much are we talking?

Could he have left the country with your say, 5.99 including P&P?
I remember giving a bloke grief because of not posting an item and his wife had died.

I felt so bad.

If someone has feedback and its all positive you'll be okay
Aww Spaced, I feel your pain, I really do!

Drop them an e-mail this afternoon asking expected lead time and if you haven't had a response - or a suitable response - by the time you're in work on Monday, start prosecution!

no Octavius a hell of alot more money than that...13.70 + P&P...do you mind!
I don't mean to scare you nor nuffink, but for 13.70 he could be well on his way to Maidenhead by now.
It could be Royal Mail's fault. I sent an eBay parcel by 1st class recorded and it took 15 days to arrive. No explanation.

Royal Mail do not consider an item lost until 14 working days (3 weeks) has passed.
