florida car hire (insurance)

We are due to go to Florida next july 09. I was banned 18 months for driving over the drink limit in march 2003. Are there conditions or restrictions due to this and can I drive over there.

You can drive there - no problem.

You may find car hire companies reluctant to hire to you though with an endorsement on your licence. It's not universal - you should find something.

Cost of insurance for hire car increases with endorsements......take out old licence free of endorsements if you have one. Cheating maybe..........play the game!
