Russian Slice

Does anyone have a recipe for Russian Slice ? At one time you could buy it in bakeries but they don't seem to make it any more. I'm talking about moist sponge of different colours that were bound together on a spongy base.

The recipe on the website sounds just about right. We don't have a Cooplands in this area but will have a go at making it myself
