if you can see it - it's there (in theory at least)
the trouble with floppys (and just about all removable media) - is that they are iffy at best
they should always be used as part of a backup SET
and not as sole storage.
save to HDD - archive to floppy
I know ... not posible always - frighteningley ... the setup for my pacemaker is stored on a floppy - I suppose the good news (for them at least) is that it won't be me complaining if it all gets lost (or even breathing!! ;(
