money or happiness - be honest

How many of you do a job that has crap wages but you love your job?? you get job satisfaction? you feel like you have accomplished something at the end of the day and even tho your skint you love it??

or maybe your lucky enough to do the job you love and get a really good wage??

i hate my job, its so boring!! im not gonna say the company but i work in an office, its REALLY good money for what we do!! but i hate it,

when i look into jobs i may like to do, id have to take at least an �8000 pay cut!!!!

so i think to myself? whats more important? money or happiness?

im happy at home, i have a beautiful daughter, a baby on the way, moving soon to a 3 bed house, a gorgeous pain in the arse for a fella!! (JOKE) i love him to bits!!!
its just my job i hate, i think ill re train to be something i really want to be in about 5-6 years, i could prob afford the pay cut with my fiance working, but loosing money?? do i wanna do that?

ideas? thoughts? opinions? please

I'm in exactly the same postion right now. Good(ish) job, not bad money, but little to no job satisfaction. I'd jack it in tomorrow if the job of my dreams came along. Less money or not!

well only you can answer that i think you have to weigh up all the pros and cons make a list.. i personally would go for your dream your kids are only small and if mummy is happier they will be to.. you only get a shot at life once you might be in a well paid job you also could be made redundent tommorow follow your dream do a job you enjoy.. there is always overtime and if you love the job overtimes not a bad thing x

it can be fraustrating when youre not happy at your job, its even more frasutratng if you cant get into the career you want to do.

thats my problem at the moment, I hate my job. i wasnt intend to stay there for this long. i graduated in 2006 and still Cannot get a graduate job...you know why?? 'Lack of Experience' they always say. i mean.. how are u suppose to get experience when you have just come out of university?

**sighs* * The pay is good for what i do... i mean its a deadend job, this is a school leavers job, not a graduate job. The industry i want to get into is between �5k - 10k more than what i am on now!!... ..

i would choose a career and not a job. and happiness over money. but Money does bring happiness.....doesnt it? u can shop til u drop, u can live in a nice house, have a nice car, and u can go on holidays and go out with friends etc...

Lifes too short to be unhappy. id be quite happy just earning enough to pay the bills as long as i was loving life.
