Yes, I went to Venice with my family on the train. Going out on the train you see all the mountains, whilst it is light, although we had a slight re-direction because of flooding in a valley. Coming back you miss the interesting scenery, because it is dark, unless they have changed the timings. The decoration on the train is beautiful, but it was much more compact than I thought and very hot in the carriages, although it was only in May that we went. The food is beautifully presented. We flew back first class B.A. - dreadful food - partly spoiled the holiday.
