Dihydrocodine aren't the stromgest pk's you can get, but they're pretty good if you take them as prescribed. Thing is, it depends on what's CAUSING the pain. I fell from a horse when I was 12, put a disc out & tore ligaments. Since then, my back "goes" every now and again, so I take Ibuprofen or the ones above, but as soon as things improve, I stop taking any medication, as I don't want to get addicted or to suffer from liver damage, etc.
hi ice went for a scan bout 4 weeks ago, still waiting for results. my back keeps going into spasms and going lopsided where have to take ibuprofen to take swelling down and the dihydrocodeine for the pain. only thing is i seem to be getting dependant on them which i know is not a good idea! i know its mind over matter but the thing is its to easy to get repeat prescriptions now and it becomes a bit of a habit........
Just be careful not to take them for to long at a time. Addiction\withdrawal is the worst part of painkillers
