Where will you be? I am going into town soon and hopefully, I will be in a place where I can stand with others and observe the 2 minutes silence. Most shops turn down their lights and stop trading at this time. The centre of my town will be the place I aim to be, as we have a square where other people will stand.

I got dentist at 10.15 but should be before 11. Wherever I am even if in dentist chair I will take 2 mins to stop and think about all those brave people who gave their lives for us.

I will be at work (yes doc & no-know - work. I do actually do some....!) but I will observe the 2 minute silence, no matter who tries to speak to me or whether the telephone goes.

The best and most meorable place I have done this is while on holiday in Devon. I was in Exeter and managed to make it to the Cathedral for 11 o'clock. It was awesome!! there was a group of schoolchildren there too, taken by their teacher. It was a real tear-jerker.
