OMG! What do you get in the Harrods ones???
Mwaaahhaha!!....hate to say it, but I bet the budget box is more fun!!!!
They show all the really expensive ones on This Morning usually! They contain gold bracelets and stuff like that!

I think i'll just be getting a fake moustache that kills your nostrils and then drops in your gravy again this year :-/
Harrods - how ridiculous - I would never pay any more than 4.99 for 12!

The contents usually end up in the junk drawer, or in the bin! Pulling them is just a bit of fun at the dinner table.;o}
Oh, is that from a cracker, Jules?! ;)

I like the cheapy ones. My grandad gets the jokes handed to him so he can read them all out... same ones every year. :)
yes hun it is lol ;-) I have a collection from christmas's past!
I agree smudge, crackers keep the kids quiet long just enough for me to bring all the veg out!!

The jokes in the Harrods ones must be extra-special funny and come with the comedian's autograph....
The fake moustache will be made of real human hair, and the whistle will be the one used during a football world cup...or something!.

Mwhahaha!! Brilliant!
The stuff that you get inside Harrods crackers are pathetic, to say what they cost. Silver-plated bits and bobs. Why couldn't they've at least put sterling silver neck chains, etc? You could buy all the gifts for far less than a box of their "luxury" things.
Worse still - you should see the price of some of their Christmas stockings!!!! : )
Or even.....how about this bauble???

20 quid for ONE bauble??? lol! I bet they don't have cats! Or kids....
Thank you for advertising the products sold by my grocer (that nice Mr Al Fayed). I have purchased several boxes of the crackers you refer to (at 399 for 6) for the amusement of my menial staff.

However, my guests for Christmas dinner will, of course, be provided with a far superior product:

lol Chris! Do they come with a very tiny, but very real, guillotine?
Now that'd be fun!
-- answer removed --
Er, exactly which part of the human anatomy are you suggesting that small guillotine should be used on, Max?

(You've made my eyes water at the thought of it!).
:-)
I was thinking of cigars, CIGARS!!!! :-P

Chris - I fell about when I saw those crackers! I was trying to find them, but you beat me to it!! In fact - last year, they sold some that were even MORE expensive than those!
And I agree with max - think how much it'd cost to put a couple of dozen of those baubles up - and then the cat gets them!!! they're not even very attractive in my opinion!
Hiya Icey!

There's actually no limit to the price that you can pay Harrod's for crackers. They'll provide 'one-off' crackers, containing a gift of your choice, from a starting price of 1000 per cracker.

Anyone who can afford 20 per bauble probably buys them solely as cat toys anyway!
Look, I love my cats, but they'll have rolled up bits of tin foil and like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol @ barmaid!

Blimey Chris - I didn't know you could have special crackers made!!! Must start hinting!! Grin!
