BBC publications have a good selection od audio + printed stuff
It would probably depend on which language you want to learn.
This guy is great. Just audio, no TV or book. I used the Spanish CD. http://www.michelthomas.com/
I'll second Michel Thomas. I used his Italian CD when I first started learning the language, and I used the French one to brush up last year when I went there.

All you have to do is repeat what they say and fill in the gaps. No books, no study, no tests, no pressure.
There is no 'easy way' to learn a language. If you use any of the quick CD/DVD methods you are just learning a load of phrases parrot-fashion and are not learning to speak the language. You can only do this by studying the grammar and vocab of a language - at great depth and after a great deal of time!
