Failing to report for bail

If, in the UK, somebody is arrested, and is bailed pending further enquiries, the fails to return at that date, what happens?
Assumning they have a given an address, but have moved from that address over the bail period.

If the local nick have the officers they may send someone for a quick check at the last known address or bail address. This is unlikely though. In most cases the culprit comes to the attention of the police in other ways...shoplifting, vehicle crimes, insurance fraud, burglary etc and then the cycle continues. Welcome to this world.
