2nd coatof paints gone too dark
HELP ihad numerous little scratches in the hallway over the wall mosly caused by moving a carpet , today i went over all the marks but its left them all about 3 shades darker when i first noticed it i presumed once it had dried it would be lighter but it hasent, please any advice i cant re paint the whole wall im disabled and it cost a fortune having it done originally.

What I would suggest for cheapness and less work is mixing a small amount of the paint with some white untill it lightens enough and re-do the touch up bits again with the lighter shade.
If you dont have any white maybe a neighbour would be kind enough to give you a small amount?
I presume its emulsion (water based) so make sure you mix it with the same type of paint eg. water based. Sorted.
