Is anybody else having problems with the new desktop version of the I player?? I cannot get the icon on my pc desktop to work at all!! Is there anyway to return to the old trouble free version of I player??

is there a new version of iplayer?? I can't see any links to it on the homepage?

anyhow, to use the online version just goto http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/

Yes you don't need to download a player anymore. Just go to the website and download what you want to watch.

I'm not talking about the desktop version. Just go to the bbc site using the link chuck gives in his post and then find what you want and either watch it by streaming or download it.
