just had a phone call from my daughter to ask if anyone knows about this message she also mentioned Ati2dvag file to do with a bug on ATI video card makes no sense to me but maybe someone might know

Sounds like she needs to update her graphcs card drivers.If the PC is still bsod(blue screen of death) then she will have to try and go into safe mode to do the update.
