mahonia, are you sure No 2 only has 9 letters?  It looked so obvious to me to be honeysuckle that I didn't stop to count them.  I just spotted it now while trying your other one.

Thanks, gen2, honeysuckle fits the clue perfectly. I was so confident it was right that I hadn't realised honeysuckle was 10 letters. I'm puzzled as the quiz definitely gives it as nine letters.
