I know It's not a third world country ,but having never been there can some one tell me to what extent the number of cash machines are.....Thank's.

There are the same amount (relatively!) of cash machines as over here in the Uk, you wont have any problems gettting cash out.

Check with your bank regards charges. It cost me about �12 to take out �300 in Alicante just recently.

When I complained to the Royal Bank of Scotland, they said it was the other bank that had added extra charges.

Thanks all,will have to check with my bank if i will get charge for withdrawing cash,I'm with the abbey who are now owned by a spanish bank  but that doesn't nessesarily mean I wont get charge by another spanish bank!....maybe I'll just stick to the old faithfull travelers cheques

I have an account with The Nationwide and they don't charge for cash withdrawals from machines overseas (as long as you have sufficient funds).
