yes, i made a home made chicken casserole then my eldest son rang for a lift home (his boss had gone off early so no transport) and so i set off to pick him up (only 4 miles away) we got back and then he decides he's left his glasses at work, and so i had to run him back then home again, hence we have just had cremated chicken casserole cos i has forgotten to turn it off when we set off back out again.
Apart from that and the neighbours kids screaming outside on the trampoline it has been quite an uneventful day off.
Checked in with EasyJet this morning (Bristol - Valencia).
Given boarding card with "Group A" on it (they don't pre-assign seats. Queuing up to board plane, a woman in an impossibly bright turquoise outfit tried to push me out the way so she could board the plane before me. She was holding a boarding pass with "Group B" on it. Her group hadn't even been called. When she rudely said, "Can you let me thru?" ... I replied, "No, I can't. Wait your bl00dy turn!"
Yeah - taking me almost 5 hours to get to London (normally 2 at tops).
And then my new Sat Nav deciding it was a jolly fab idea to take me home through Central London. Hence incurring a shed load of stress and the congestion charge. AND it was bedlam because of the tube strike.
g8.....car broke down; AA arrived after 1h - couldn't fix it or tow it, so waited 2h for pickup truck & car taken to garage then home by truck. 10 - 6pm!
but.........lovely mechanics - so not complaining ;)
I had to go to my Kent office for a meet only for 2 people not to turn up with a p**s poor excuse.Hence meet cancelled when I could of been catching up in my Croydon office.
