Monkeys as waiters

Could you trian monkeys to be waiters? I have heard this happens in Kayabukiya tavern, Japan but was wondering how effectivce the service you get. Could they take orders do you think?

I don't see why not. they work well at lastminute.com's call centre.

And Carphone Warehouse! You could train those Capuchin Monkeys to be waiters, they often train them to become helper Monkeys to the sick and disabled. Thing is, complaining to one would give the same outcome as complaining to one at CPW, you'd get no response.

Dear Dragons Den. I'd like �75 000 of your money to set up a monkey waiter franchise.

I'd train monkeys to speak and understand english, take orders from customers, collect the orders from the bar and take them to the customers table. The monkeys would also be able to accept tips.

You will note that primates are exempt from employment law and minimum wage legislation. Therefore the profit is predicted to be 85%.

My dream is to become the UK brand leader in monkey waiters within 9 months. Can I have my �75 000 in used notes please?
