zxxee mine have taken anything from 2-5 weeks. ALl the best for your new job! x
if it takes longer than 6 weeks i suggest you phone the people who did the check...i left mine and when i eventually phoned they said they sent it too me....it was lost in the post and after 3 months they can not issue you with a copy and although you have been cleared you have to pay again.....they dont send it recorded delivery they send it normal post....a bit silly i would say...anyway 6 weeks....then follow it up....sometimes the post do get lost!!!!!!!!!!
ohhh and good luck with the new job...
What's a crb check? I've never heard of it.
I always thought after the first one it was quicker. Mine have always been like that or perhaps it was just luck
Jan1957 a crb check is a criminal record check, normally done in the UK if you are working with children or vulnerable adults etc. Normally schools, NHS, social services, connexions and training providers etc.....
