At the farm where we keep our horses a peacock has appeared from nowhere and set up home. He's very tame and comes into our stables to scrounge whatever he can get his beak into, pony nuts, pony mix, crisps etc

Is there any proper food you can buy for peacocks and where can I get some from?

many thanks

corn is meant to be good, but as long ass they don't have stuff thats obviuosly bad for them such as sugary stuff they are alright.
It may not be good for them but I know what they like

Grapes

I've had peacocks come ant take them out of my hand before
Poultry Growers Pellets should be OK. Available from any agricultural store.
You can find a decent recipe for it here http://www.gourmet.co...1950s/1951/12/peacock
