Can't find a category to put this is, so will try on here. BT have changed the format of their online bills, and they no longer give a date when the payment will be taken on or after from your bank. I phoned them and got Rupinda in Delhi who didn't really understand what I was saying and kept telling me the date was on the front page of the bill. The only date on the online bill is the bill date, which is the date they send it. Previously they put a date on when it would be taken from your bank, usually a couple of weeks after the bill date. My problem is I have to put money into the bank to cover the direct debits, so need to know when it is going to be taken to make sure I don't go overdrawn. I have tried emailing but no reply as yet. Anyone else got this problem?

On my new Bill it states the Date when the money will be deducted from your Bank Account if you check again.
Well as you say you know they take it about two weeks after you receive the bill so just make sure you leave that amount in your account, if you have x amount to pay in D/D every month you know you can only take x amount out for other things, (ie) £1000
paid in, total D/D £600 = £400 left, don't draw any more than £400 and you will know there will always be sufficient to cover all what ever time they go out.
