sandy16 posted this question earlier- nursery rhyme beginning with the letters T A T B S S. been through all my daughters old nursery rhyme books and cannot find it. perhaps it is a modern nursery rhyme.
Maybe it starts Tweedledum and Tweedledee...
The one i know is 'Tweedledum and Tweedledee resolved to have a battle' but i recall there were different versions
Have been racking my brains trying to think of what this might be and have had a look through some nursery rhyme websites but haven't found anything. The Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum one is from Alice Through the Looking Glass so it would surprise me if an alternative version of that one was the answer. Initially I was trying to think of one beginning "There's a..." but that didn't help me much! Let us know what the answer is if it ever gets found out!
I have been looking at some rhymes websites. I thought I was on to something with this one, but alas no as it is T A B A S S but I thought I would post it for all to read -
Tibbitts and Bibbitts and Solomon Sly
Ran off one day with a cucumber pie.
Tibbitts was tossed by a Kensington cow,
Bibbitts was hanged on a brambleweed bough,
And poor little Solomon—what do you think?
Was drowned one dark night in a bottle of ink.
Maybe grasscarp is onto something here.
Cupid04- are you sure the 4th letter is a 'B' or could it be an '&' ?
If so then we just need a slightly different version of the Tibbitts rhyme
