When I tape anything on Sky+ I can rewind and fast forward no problem. However when I am on live programmes and watch it for a few minutes and rewind it to watch it again it no longer allows me. At present I have taken all plugs out of wall hoping this fix it. Anybody have any other ideas.

Are you recording onto HDD on your Sky+ Box or on to your DVD Recorder ?

if you change channel between, then it will only let you rewind to the time segment that you have been watching at that one time (bits of prgramme before you changed channel will not appear). i also think it only goes to a maximum of -10 mins if you remain on one channel (assuming you have watched more than 10 mins).

can you pause programmes ?

maybe you are right - yes I can pause - no I used to be able to rewind as quickly as one minute. No I am not recording

just letting you know I was right - just pulled the plugs out of the wall overnight everything is back to square one. If you have problems with Sky Freeview anything - just pull the plugs out. Good luck!!!!

ours quite often locks up if we try to pause and rewind live programs, its really crap!

then pull out your plugs for a while - it does really work. do this for any problems with your sky
