i cant beleive i work with a racist colleague. we are expecting some new starters nx week and we are all looking forward to it apart from him. he came out with ' as long these speak english and from england thats fine, cant be doing with non english speakers' ... im shocked! im like just from England? what if they are scottish?.... do you mean UK?.... hes like yeah... i mean UK.......

im really shocked... because im chinese myself, i was like .... stop being so rasist, look at me im chinese,........u work with a chinese girl?...... he was like 'well you speak English'.....

TCL-MUMPING: My cousin from HK came over to England and went to college to do GCSE English so she can get into uni, it was a one year course (usually 2 years) but its really for resits for ones who didnt pass first time round. when she got her result... she got a C, where as the resitters - all English born and bread....only manage a D or lower, and these are like there 2nd or 3rd attempts.................

On Singapore, China, Russia & Hong Kong News you NEVER see an english announcer.....racism is shocking!

umm not sure if the new starters are asain or not, he just came out with it today.

i can understand people find it difficult to understand the way they speak, but at least theyre making an effort to speak English. Try speaking in their langauge...? if you went abroad like... Norway, or should i say... France ... thailand, India, China... what langague do you speak?
How do you know they're not English just by looking at them?

TCL-MUMPING: i'm born n bred in England, am i English? when people look at me they would say i'm chinese..... I am chinese but im English.... or could really say Chinglish?... so confusing :-P
I have been accused of being Scottish..............I blame my father.
English is almost universal due to the internet......most english working in those countries do learn the language.
You called yirsel Chinese in the original post so if that is how you think, it's up to you
