How did your husband or boyfriend propose to you ?Was it just the WILL YOU MARRY ME or was it something really embarrassing or was it something out of the ordinary

As neither my wife and I spoke more than ten words of each others language,it was mainly done by gestures!
Luckily my commanding officer at the time was fluent in German,and later confirmed what we had "gestured" to each other! LOL

Mr mac had taken me out for lunch for my birthday and he was all geared up to ask me over coffees at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, an elderly man at the next table collapsed and an ambulance was called. When our coffees arrived the man was lying on the floor with an oxygen mask on and a paramedic crouching over him, but Mr mac thought to himself 'I've come this far, if I don't do it now...' and proceeded to propose next to a scene out of Casualty. I said yes and the man was ok. :)

My boyfriend took me away on holiday and on our first day we went for a country walk and when we go to the bottom of the most amazing waterfall, he proposed there!
It was so well planned and very romantic. There was noone else around, until we wanted somone to take our picture and then another couple appeared as if by magic and they were kind enough to take our picture! A lovely proposal and we get married in 5 weeks time!

My apologies ummmm,
I speak a few more words of German than when I proposed to Elsie,but not much more!
Actually Elsie's English puts me to shame,but that is always the way isn't it,foreigners end up speaking better English than we do!LOL
