Sorry if I'm being naive, but isn't Virgin Mail a service Virgin provide, and Outlook Express an e-mail client ?

You can use Virgin mail via the web so is that what you mean.

If you want to use Virgin Mail with Outlook Express you need to "set it up".

Set Outlook Express as the default email (via Internet Explorer) using Tools / Internet Options / Programs / Email.
