What should i use

The horizontal strip along the side of my 10 year old Fiesta is coming away. I would like to stick it back myself but have no idea what to use. Any suggestions welcome please. Janet

some cars , if not most have a thin foam double sided adhesive strip, you could possibly get some from a car paint & panel supplier, or go see a bodyshop & flatter you eyelashes at them.
or use some contact adhesive like evo stik or a silicone sealer like you use in your bathroom/kitchen may do the trick - you may find you have to hold it in place with some masking tape until it dries

Thank you gsr will probably try the foam strip first. Had to smile at the flutter your eyelashes tho, I'm 75 and don't think that would work!!!! Thanks for taking the time to answer Janet

This is what you should use for adhesive panels. You will need a standard DIY frame gun to apply. Pull off the whole strip and remove old adhesive tape. Clean with standard thinners.

Original is double-sided tape in various widths, which is quite expensive. An alternative would be double-sided black window security glazing tape (from a local glass shop)
