The daughter has been to look at a used car today, with a view to buying it. The dealer she is buying from only offers a 28 day warranty.........is this usual?

She is taking the boyfriend, a motor mechanic, to look it over on Saturday.

well dependant on where your buying from they normally offer 12/24/36 month warrantys at an additional fee. Gives you more peace of mind if you have long warranty....
most dealers offer either 3month warranty or no warrantly depending on the price and age of the car

When I bought my car off e-Bay I got a 3 month warranty..I have to say I love my car
