I`m making some pumpkin soup and am going to put half-fat creme fraishe in it. I want to freeze some. Would it be OK? I know I could just add the creme fraishe when I serve it but I don`t want to keep buying tubs of the stuff everytime I have the soup

Correction, creme fraiche
Yes, you can freeze it but you'll probably find the soup thinner than what it is now.
