sorry forgot to put tonights time 6 19 pm for 1 min
I have an application for the ipad. It was free and is called the NASA app.
Anyway one of the many things it does is to plot the path of the ISS as it orbits the earth.
Down to the town it is flying over anywhere in the world.
Used it last night to see the ISS fly over Swindon. Fired up app , went into garden and looked North ...and watched it pass over head...
Now how cool is that !

Sounds super .I check on the orbital tracking then when I see it approach I go out.
It will tonight on the next orbit flying over Reading South and directly over the junction where the M3 meets the M25 ...
My granddaughter went to the Florida space centre, she was really impressed. It's a place I would have liked to see.

Also been to the Florida Space Centre a couple of times and in 1990 watched a shuttle launch from Coco Beach ....Amazing sight
Question Author
I bet that is worth seeing in reality as it is amazing just watching the shuttle take off live on the nasa tv.
WOW thanks wendilla!
just read your message in time with 5 mins to spare. didnt have p.c, but something made me look, I must be physic.
fantastic --clear sky, and watched it go right over my roof. brilliant x
SIRandyraven --do you mind me asking how you do that Nasa thing?
I'd really love to know , ta v. much
pusskin ....

1) I think it's an ipad only application.
2) Goto Application Store and search for NASA
3) Load free app onto ipad
4) Fire up NASA application and top right of screen you will see a icon with a red number on it. This is number of Nasa things in orbit ....
5) Click on this ...well tap ...and select ISS from drop down list
6) Now you will see a three pane window ...click on Full Screen Map and visible places icon
Now expand the map to see where the ISS is flying over ...its real time and moves

Have fun
Question Author
