Naked Lunch is about this little man called Bilbo who is visited by a wizard and some dwarves one day who cajole him into going off on a quest to find gold.
They have many adventures along the way including fighting with Trolls, discovering a magic ring which makes you invisible, and slaying a fire breathing dragon.
The Cronenburg film doesn't do the book justice, as it introduces several elements not present in the book, such as the boat trip with the belly dancing androids, and only covers the relationship between Bilbo and his hamster very sketchily.
Tom Cruise however is excellent in the role of Gloin.
