christmas carols in shops

ive given up counting the amount of shops ive gone into in the last week or so who have christmas songs playing, its still early november yet, no wonder people get fed up with it, rant over.... maybe

I think it's offensive to play them.
I avoid town like the plague...except maybe the Goose for cheap lunch.
It's diluting the meaning of Christmas.

Any shop playing Christmas songs now, in early November, should be ashamed of themselves.

First of December would be more than adequate.....but alas, they will still play them, as it attracts the shoppers to spend spend spend.
It makes me want to walk straight out of the shop.
Interestingly enough, my lunchtime trip to Tesco today was accompanied not by Christmas carols, but by some rather catchy greek-sounding music. Quite pleasant, really.
I quite like the songs, however I know that they will be irritating me bigtime by december, the most depressing one of them all "feed the world"
The girls in my office needed cheering up last week, they started to put the decorations up....
