Slow day at the office for Olive who is boxing away all the decorations, and then she'll run the boxes round to Daddy's.

On the bright side, Mums will probably give Olive some lunch.

Are yours all done?

Yay ... Coptic Christianity sounds good.

Aww, poop ... they're all down now, and being boxed up.

Wait ... is it too late to stop Olive ... ... ... ?????
decorations are nice but its a relief when they are down, the place looks so much tidier without them. I always think of that weird bloke (mr christmas) who celebrates christmas every day for years, he must be so depressed by now, yearning for a cheese sandwich and a bit of normality.

Yes, I saw him in the paper just before Christmas.

What a weirdo !!
My small, 25 year old tree went up on 23rd December & was put away before the New Year.
I hate Xmas decorations. Bah humbug.
Question Author
Ooooh, no ... you have to have a big 7ft tree, and when it's up and you cut the net open, it all sproings out. And it makes the room all ponky, like a pine forest.
Ponky?

I had a real tree once, years ago.....and still find the odd pine needle. Horrid things
I remember Reagan once announcing that trees caused more pollution than cars. Next time he gave an outdoor speech someone decorated the nearest tree with a sign saying "Stop me before I kill again!" Perhaps it was JJ.
Xmas ... you kill trees and blatantly lie to your kids ...

... see, I can still be 'bah, humbug!" long after the event, lol
our tree just goes back in the garden for another year. And the decorations should have come down either yesterday or the day before, depending when you think 'first night' is (some say Christmas Eve, some say Christmas Day).

Mrs_O ...

Yes, "ponky" ... you know ... it makes the room smell.
Of course....you live so near France that you are speaking Franglais.

Here "oop North" we call in pongy
Question Author
Pongy ?

LOL

If something has a bit of a ponk, then it's ponky.
