Creative Chatpack Webcam & Headset

I've just bought this and loaded the disc succesfully. However, when I plug it into the USB port no lights come on. Should I be able to see my 'orrible mug without making a call. There doesn't seem to be any power going into it. Help!!

The light won't come on until it's in use (it's a warning light so you don't leave your camera active without knowing)

It will only activate if you are using a application that supports it and you turn it on, as you've not said what software you are using it's a bit hard to say much, but if you use the camera and audio setup wizard in most things you will be able to test it.

No, I meant the camera setup wizard in whatever program you are using...

for example in MSN messenger it's on the tools menu under audio and video setup, in skype it's Tools > Options > General tab > Video Settings tab
