Does anyone know if the Lane Guidance system comes on automatically on a Motorway and will it work on a Dual Carriageway ?
All I am getting is a constant Red Line showing the route road.
Any help really appreciated.

Have you got it in 3D mode, if so then yes the lane guidance pops up when approaching a junction, mine (an older 720) also works on some dual carriageways but it all depends on whether the information has been stored in the maps.

Hi Fitzer,
thanks for your reply and yes the 3 D mode is switched on.
I got some form of Lane Guidance to work inn the Status Bar at the bottom of the screeen but only when I was exiting a motorway.
Do you think I need to connect my TomTom XXL to my pc and download the latest maps but it is only a week old ?
