wanting to coat some strawberries in chocolate to give someone as a gift, looked up a recipe online but says parchment or wax paper, i dont have either, one recipe said to use foil but i dont think that would work. i have greaseproof paper, is that the same as parchment, im not sure. any tips please?

Greaseproof will be perfect.
Greaseproof is NOT the same as parchment NQ.

Greaseproof paper will still be fine though.

thanks, any idea how i can place the strawberries so they dont look flat on one side where the chocolate has set if you know what i mean?
Use toothpicks and stick em

darn it, read about cocktail sticks too late but will use next time, a great idea. just hope they peel off greaseproof in half an hours time. i randomly used a fork to put white choc on dark to make a pattern and vice versa, didnt work too well, lines not uniform and blobby, oh well not bad for a first attempt. the rejects tasted good anyway! thanks for your help!
