If you had used it and then decided to return something you had bought with it because the purchased item was unsuitable, would you kick off if the shop refused to refund the item to the card because you were female and the card had a blokes name on it?

No, we each have our own cards, and to those who'd kick off I'd say this, imagine if your card had been stolen - they are only trying to protect your money, you would be asking - how can a woman run up hundreds of pounds worth of debt on a mans card. easily done on the internet, not in a shop

Dunno boxy I thought that she wasn't going to give me my money back. I had the receipt, maybe if I hadn't told her it was my granddaughters purchase she wouldn't have said anything.
