Lovely idea but it would not be kind as they are artificially reared to enormous proportion and will not long survive in the wild.

It does bring to mind a shot of Mork and Mindy many years ago, where Robyn decided to release young chickens from captivity so he threw an egg up in the air and yelled "fly, be free"!.

Not only do I feel sorry for them, but I feel sorry for the exotic pets who eat them spending their lives in glass cases when in the wild they roamed for miles and felt the air and wind on their bodies. Such a trade should be banned in my opinion.
