Arms bent up behind your back towards your shoulders. Can one arm reach much higher than the other?

Yes, very much so. I am basically right-handed but my left arm goes much further up my back. As far as I can recall it always has. I do have some trouble with my left shoulder and have always wondered if the two are related.
