For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I have recently completed a Quiz where one Section contained things found in a Church.
The very first clue was "Annoyed" for which I gave the answer INCENSE. Of course, the clue should have read "Annoy" to agree with the present tense of the answer. The point that I am making is that setters are not always as sharp as they should be!
In your case, I think that "gents" perhaps should have been used not "gent". If YEMEN is the correct answer, then the clue should have read as follows : 1 The old-fashioned gents!! since the old-fashioned word for "Your" is "Thy" or "Thine".
With any Quiz you can usually assess just how "sharp" the setter has been! Good Luck with it!
