If Jews were so keen to get their own land, why do loads of them not live there? Some of the stricter ones in London won't interact outside their religious community, so wouldn't they be happier in Israel?

Perhaps they would be happier in Israel, but emigrating's a big step for anyone. Jobs, homes, businesses, kids' education, etc, etc - it all has to be considered.

My daughter used to live in that part of London where they are numerous. Once one gets over the surprise of seeing people dressed in their homburgs and black coats there is no problem with them at all. I'd as soon follow one through Sainsbury's checkout as any one else.
