I think that's what they are trying to do. Frankly, I think France and Germany should just get on with their fiscal union, and the rest of us should leave them to it.

As i have said a Federal state of Europe run by Germany and France.
rojash, do you mean that all other countries leave the EU or Germany and France run it.

I mean that all the other countries leave the Eurozone and leave Germany and France to do with the Euro as they wish.

that doesn't seem to be feasible surely, and going on the way the two, Merkel and Sarkhozy are cosying up one wonders whether this is the aim, to have a Franco/German alliance leading the rest of Europe, because they obviously don't think much of anyone else, or that is the feeling i get when reading about this, or watching the news.
