The children take after their mother in that they only care about themselves. As for Thatcher its the best story I've read over the Christmas period and certainly cheered me up.Im sure many ex-miners will agree with me on that.
I can't believe the level of ill will some have for Margaret Thatcher. She was a tough leader who stood for no nonsense.

The level of pure spite and hatred exhibited by some posters is shocking.
The daughter isn't married. Mrs T should go and live with her.

The sheer level of bile levelled at a woman who hasn't the company of her children is mind boggling. Let's hope you don't get into the position of being ill and alone, it's no joke, nor is it something one would wish on a worse enemy, pathetic
bitterness is a very unattractive trait.
Mrs T is well looked after regardless of whether or not her children are around at Christmas. However, anyone who despises caring as a weakness had better hope that when they're old, sick and frail, those around them don't think the same way. I'm appalled!

I'm with Mrs C. I'd do anything to spend another day with my mum.
