Whirlpool fridge freezer prob's

My Whirlpool side by side, fridge freezer (cabinet) normally dispenses both ice and chilled water. The ice works fine but for some reason the water has stopped? The procedure is to place a glass against a trigger switch which then activates the water flow.
Any suggestions please.

Problem may be if you have put a lot of unfrozen food into the freezer ,especially on the door , at one go, this causes the pipe that supplies the water to freeze. You will still get ice from the supply in thbox at top of freezer until it runs out. You need to clear out the frzen water in the pipe.

Thank you nannybooby for you quick response. Will try as you suggest but shouldn't it correct itself after a period of time?
